ICE Kraków Congress Centre
ICE Kraków is one of the most prestigious conference venues in Poland, known for its modern architectural solutions and advanced technical facilities. Its unique infrastructure allows for the organisation of various events, such as conferences, congresses, concerts, banquets and exhibitions. It has three main halls: Auditorium, Theatre and Chamber, which can accommodate a maximum of 1,915, 596 and 400 users, respectively. The centre can accommodate a total of 3,200 participants. It has a set of conference rooms with adjustable sliding walls, a glass-walled, 3-level foyer with a view of Wawel Castle, a multifunctional exhibition hall and auxiliary spaces.
We were responsible for designing the sound system for rooms S1, S2, S3 and S4, as well as the image display system using monitors and high-power projectors. In rooms S1 and S2, we designed a system adapted for the installation of linear systems as well as point sources to provide sound reinforcement for the balconies. We used both copper and fibre optic connections for audio signal transmission. As part of the project, we supplied microphones and wireless systems, as well as audio consoles.
In Room S1, we installed a high-end projector with 4K resolution and over 10,000 ANSI lumens. The whole system is complemented by a simultaneous interpretation system that can be used during international meetings or conferences.
All four rooms are connected in such a way as to enable the exchange of both audio and video signals between them. All design work was carried out on behalf of BUDIMEX S.A. and with the participation of the investor.
